Our next batch of plants is growing on and we'll relist them for sale from May.

Yellow flag iris is widespread across England and Wales, where it's found in a wide range of damp places. It's a lovely architectural plant for the pond or river edge, where it will grow to 1.5m. Yellow flag iris is one of the more vigorous plants we sell, spreading naturally or via its very large floating seeds. Its lovely yellow flowers go very well in any planting scheme with dark blue, and are the origin of the heraldic fleur-de-lys. "Flag" comes from the middle English word for a rush or reed, "flagge".

We offer Yellow flag iris in generous 110cc plugs in trays, or if you order 10 plants we'll pop them in a bio-degradable bag.

Please note that these plants are only available on a seasonal basis. The nursery grows new stock from autumn to early spring, so we do not deliver over this period.
