About British Pond Plants
British Pond Plants supplies native pond plants grown by specialists Gower Wildflowers and Anglo Aquatic, with oxygenators from Southwest Aquatics in Cornwall. We think that provenance and the way that plants are grown are as important as the type of plants customers buy. British Pond Plants is part of Habitat Aid Ltd.
Habitat Aid is a Somerset based business founded in 2008. We have established a community of small specialist nurseries and growers around the country, who supply our customers with British native trees, hedging, aquatic plants, wildflower seed and heritage fruit trees. We also have partners through whom we can offer landscaping and ecological services. This includes pond building and wetland creation.
In the last few years we’ve donated over £110,000 to small UK conservation charities and projects. The NGOs we support include the Freshwater Habitats Trust and Amphibian and Reptile Conservation. Habitat Aid is a certified B Corporation.
