Ragged Robin is another of our native plants which looks far too exotic to be a wildflower. It's usually associated with wet meadow and woodland habitat and used to be widespread across the UK. Confusingly, until recently its botanical name was "Lychnis flos-cuculi" and its common name has varied too - in Elizabethan times known as Crowflower. It usually grows to around 75cm.
We offer Ragged Robin as either bare root or as 4cm or 5cm plugs, depending on availability.
Please note that these plug plants are only available on a seasonal basis. The nursery grows new stock from autumn to early spring, so we do not deliver over this period.
